Climate Center & TOLA – Seeking Campaign Field Staff in the Sacramento Region Overview: The Climate Center Action Fund and TOLA Organizing Academy, are working to build a grassroots movement to advance policies that urgently protect our most vulnerable communities from the impacts of climate change. Lower-income communities are disproportionately affected by exposure to pollution from our fossil fuel economy, making them more vulnerable to heatwaves, drought, floods, and food insecurity. It will be the responsibility of the Field Staff to lead phone banks, make voter phone calls and support volunteers. Key responsibilities: ● Participate in training and strategy development phone banking sessions. ● Manage 10-15 Neighborhood Leaders. ● Work closely with the Campaign Coordinator and other Field Staff to plan and execute campaign actions such as Saturday mobilizations, canvassing, phone banking, press events, presentations, etc. ● Effectively and efficiently manage data of all identified voters and resident engagements.
