Commercial Cleaning Corporation, headquartered in Trenton, New Jersey is actively looking individuals for several custodial, maintenance and janitorial positions at a high profile location in Millville, NJ. We are looking for those who can work Full-Time, Part-Time or on Weekends. We are hiring for the following positions: LOCATION #1 Day Porter: Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm Night Cleaner: Monday - Friday from 6:00pm-10:00pm Weekend Porter: Saturday & Sunday from 7:00am-3:30pm LOCATION #2 Lead Day Porter: Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm Day Porter: Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm Lead Night Porter: Monday - Friday from 3:00pm - 11:00pm Night Porter: Monday - Friday from 3:00pm - 11:30pm Night Cleaner: Monday - Friday from 6:00pm - 10:00pm Weekend Porter: Saturday & Sunday from 7:00am - 3:30 pm Desired experience for lead custodian includes: PORTER JOB QUALIFICATIONS: •Must handle multi-projects and stressful situations in a positive manner •Must be able to plan and follow through on work assignments •Knowledge of current cleaning techniques and/or methods •Familiarity with current cleaning equipment and/or technology •Physical ability to do required work and 2 years of experience as a Lead Custodian, or equivalent OR equivalent education/experience •Ability to listen and communicate effectively to provide excellent customer service •Ability to act effectively in making judgments regarding policy and procedures. •Experience with observation techniques as it relates to maintaining janitorial standards. •Highly developed customer service skills with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external contacts. •Proven project management skills with the ability to take a project from conception through completion with minimal supervision. •Exceptionally detail-oriented with the proven ability to handle numerous tasks with appropriate follow-up and reporting activities while not losing sight of the big picture. • Strong diplomacy skills and professionalism are mandatory; this includes the ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion at all times. CLEANER EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: •Minimum one year experience in janitorial services or related field •High school diploma required; some college preferred. •Ability to maintain professional composure when handling high-pressure situations and difficult personalities. • Ability to work independently while being an integral member of a high-functioning team. • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts and procedures in simplistic terms. • Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills coupled with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. • Personal integrity with the ability to inspire confidence and trust. • Ability to lift and/or carry at least 50 lbs. • Ability to perform work while standing for extended periods of time. • Ability to climb stairs in an efficient manner. • Ability to carry backpack vacuums for prolonged periods of time.
