My beloved salamanders are getting along better than I expected and their offspring will be old enough for your home starting Fall 2022. Mother is a Wild Type, but very dark, Father is Leucitic. It's too early to tell exactly what they will look like but half are light with spots and half are dark with spots. Pictures attached for reference, last is of the parents. General Info: Axolotl are a fun pet who do not require attention often. They do require clean, cold water, about 16-18C or 60-65F. I do this with a USB cooling fan above their aquarium. Provided they are not placed in direct sunlight this is usually all you need to get it cold enough. I'm posting my setup as a recommended setup to get you started. They will need at least 10 gal but 20 is more ideal for an adult.
