Beautiful 4 year old Husky/Shepherd mix in need of a loving, patient new home. I am currently moving and can not bring this beautiful boy with me. He is fully up to date with shots, has a microchip and has been recently groomed. I adopted Zeke from my local shelter with an unknown history, as he was recently picked up off the streets. I initially intended to move to a bigger home with a yard soon after adopting him, however due to COVID and market changes that has been much delayed. He is a very active, high energy dog that will play for hours. He also has a very loving, calm side and will happily lay on you for hours. He is not friendly with strange men, I can only assume he was abused by a man before I got him, and is not the most friendly with children. When I adopted him my daughter was 3 and he fell in line in our pack and has accepted her and is very playful with her, at first very hesitant and untrusting. However, he is not very friendly with children out in public. I believe this dog can be trained into an amazing companion, he is very food motivated and knows all his basic commands. I wish I could give him the yard, space and energy that he needs but life circumstances have made me realize someone else would be much better suited to provide these things. Zeke needs to go to a home with an experienced dog owner and likely one that does not currently have other dogs, he is very 50/50 when it comes to friendliness with other dogs. Rehoming fee of $100 which will include a full sized metal crate, toys, snacks, training collar, harness and much more.
