- gig: Looking for a mechanic or knowledgable individual to work on some electrical issues on a vehicle
- details: I am converting an ambulance to a mobile home and need some help on some electrical projects. I could take it to a shop, but I would rather hire someone to work on it at my shop. I will be there to assist you and help in any way possible.
- vehicle: 2006 Ford E-450 Ambulance
- problems looking to fix (in order of importance):
1. brake lights not working - brake lights will come on when headlights are on, but not when the brakes are engaged. have checked fuses and brake switch
2. control panel not getting power - control panel which controls exterior lights, inverter, etc. was working and randomly quit on me. have not dove into this one yet
3. cruise control not functioning
4. heating element on block heater is out - will likely need to replace the block heater itself
5. need to tie a 12v lithium battery into the alternator - should be fairly simple, due to the existing inverter
pay is negotiable - please give me a call if you feel you fit the bill
