Rehoming my eleven year old African gray. She is an awesome companion and I would like to see her go to someone who plans on keeping her long term. You must have prior parrot experience. It takes her a while to warm up but after she does she’s snuggly and (mostly) sweet. She doesn’t talk much, mostly nonsense and “bird” but she makes an assortment of noises including the Snapchat notification noise and the noise my car makes when I unlock it. She is a classic grey and tends to bond to one person- she doesn’t like strangers much (unless they’re giving her food) and will bite them if they don’t know what they’re doing. She’s super clever and will take advantage of people who are timid or scared of her. She will come with her stand, her cage, some rope perches, puppy pads, a big bag of her food, and other assorted things I have for her. I am requiring a 1,000 rehoming fee-this is a extremely reasonable rehoming fee for a parrot so let’s not flag. Please send me an email and tell me a bit about yourself and your parrot experience.
