HARRISON, NY — Police caught two men they say jumped a fence and ran away Sunday after a trooper joined a New York state H.E.L.P. truck dealing with a disabled vehicle on I-95. When the trooper arrived at 1:45 p.m., three people fled from the vehicle, climbed a fence, and ran away, police said. Two of the suspects were located and detained during an organized search that included the Town of Harrison Police Department and Westchester County Police Department Aviation. The third subject was not located. During the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle, a 2013 Ford Explorer, was reported stolen to the NYPD's 104th Precinct. Delonte S. Cole, 21, of Bayshore, NY and Angelli Ortiz Rodriguez, 23, of Brooklyn, NY were transported and processed at the state police barracks in Hawthorne where they were charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree; a Class D Felony. Both were issued appearance tickets and are due in Harrison town court June 9.
