Description

SALEM, MA — Patients and visitors to the North Shore Medical Center will have to navigate a different set of entrances for the next two weeks as an enclosed walkway is constructed at the main entrance. Those who typically use the Davenport 4 entrance will be directed to the MassGeneral for Children entrance. To get to that entrance, use the Lower Entrance off Highland Avenue and park in the lower parking lot. The MassGeneral for Children is directly across the from the parking lot. Screeners will provide those entering the MassGeneral for Children with hand sanitizer and a mask, and then give directions on where to go. North Shore has added signs and has security at the top of Highland Avenue to direct visitors to the proper parking lot. Birthplace, emergency, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and Wellness Center patients should continue to use their designated entrances. More information on the closures can be found here.
