5 days ago this cat/kitten showed up at my house, no collar. I drove around my subdivision & went to the township hall looking for posters from his owner, no luck. I placed an ad in the lost/found section with pics, no response. Now I'm giving away what really is someone else's cat/kitten. He could be a small adult, but his size, his looks and the way he acts makes me suspect he's actually somewhere in the 5-6 month range. He doesn't spray, no clue if he's fixed or had any shots. What I've observed about him: He's locked in my bathroom (I have 2 cats already) and he doesn't like it (I don't blame him). He meows - loudly. When I'm in there with him he's great, he's gentle, will cuddle up in my lap, licks my hands, is very playful and litter trained. He doesn't appear to have any health issues, I don't see any ear mites, no fleas, no injuries on his body, his coat is softer than expected for a short haired and shiny. Unless you have experience training cats, I don't recommend he go to a home where there are other cats. It's sad really, but he tries really hard to make friends with my cats but has no clue how to go about it. He walks right up to them, sticks his face in theirs and then meows so loud it's startling. This makes other cats immediately anxious and on guard and either want to back away from him or attack him. That's how I found him in the first place, I heard cats fighting outside and my neighbors cats are indoor/outdoor and they were attacking him. I went out there and he would run right up to them then do this super loud meow, they'd attack, he'd run off, but then he'd come right back and do it all over again. When he saw me he ran right to me and meowed (normally) and rubbed on my legs so I brought him in and the search for his owner began. Okay, so feel free to text me with any questions or you can call and leave a message and I'll call you back. I don't usually answer the phone for numbers I don't know, too many telemarketers. (It may take me a bit to get back to you on Friday the 29th as I'll be gone most of the day, but will respond quickly any other time.)
