We seek a Remodeling Construction Project Manager to oversee residential remodeling projects from beginning to end. It's a fast-paced environment where building & maintaining relationships with contractors/vendors and working diligently to ensure top-notch execution will be crucial to our success. Construction Project Manager Job Responsibilities: • Complete projects in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining high quality • Conduct weekly property-walks to monitor progress and quality standards • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with established completion requirements • Manage the budget and estimate costs • Determine and order the necessary equipment, materials, and labor needed • Keep track of inventory, tools, and equipment • Collaborate with subcontractors and team members of the project team • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes • Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements • Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites • Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available through the life cycle of construction projects • Test all systems and functions of the homes to ensure they work properly • Anticipate roadblocks, risks and resolve any problems that may arise • Keep stakeholders aware of the progress on projects Construction Project Manager Job Requirements include: • Construction management background or another similar role desired • Strong knowledge of construction practices and sequencing • Previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects • Ability to multi-task and balance several simultaneous projects • Ability to prepare construction schedules and cost estimates • Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment • Must be competent and comfortable with computers and MS Office • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards • Conflict resolution and conflict management experience • Excellent time management ability • Enjoying working in a team environment • Must be highly organized • Ability to give direction Candidates who desire a career opportunity with a successful company in the residential remodeling industry should send their resume with desired salary compensation.
