This is Jed. He is a sweet sweet, cuddly boy. He is a male, 8 mos old Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix. Fixed, UTD on rabies, dewormed. He is an outside dog, but still young enough he can be potty trained. He doesn’t mind the rain, but he would need proper shelter in the winter for his short coat. I provided a picture of his Chesapeake bay coat with the swirls in it. It’s very notably curly when he is wet. His mom and grandma are both full blooded Chesapeake bay retriever (met them both), but his father is unknown. Mom was curlier, and his grandma was even curlier, but his coat is fairly short. We have had him since 8 weeks old. He is great with cats, dogs, and kids of all ages. He loves to sit in laps and play on the trampoline. He is fond of taking big old grandpa naps, he loves water, and does well in his kennel when we leave. He walks well on a harness. We live on 5 acres in the country, and he is a well behaved boy, except for his one big flaw- he likes the taste of baby chicken. He leaves our big hens alone, but can’t seem to leave the younger ones alone. We are an hour outside of KC if you would like to come and meet Jed. He will come with his collar and harness and some food. Rehoming fee waived for the right family.
