Established plumbing company seeking qualified BIM/Plumbing designer. Plumbing code knowledge and experience in commercial plumbing systems from design to fabrication is helpful but not mandatory. Must know AutoCAD & AutoCAD MEP. Job Description: Designer shall work in a team environment to develop accurate, constructible, coordinated, and timely plumbing system models with other building trades (sprinkler, duct-work, piping, etc.). A plumbing designer will also be responsible for providing accurate shop drawings that support the construction team. The designer will report to the modeling supervisor and be responsible for interacting with the fabrication supervisor, detailers, project managers, project engineers and field foreman.
