Versatile and experienced bass player looking for a project

Bass player looking for something creative and unusual to get involved in. I have really diverse taste and recent bands have reflected that, including everything from noisy skronk rock to alt-folk Americana. Have played at most of the small clubs in San Francisco including the Parkside, Cafe Du Nord, Hotel Utah, Make Out Room, and Brick and Mortar. I've got a strong liking (and ear) for bass lines that do a lot more than just hold the root -- John Entwistle, Mike Watt, Bruce Thomas, Mike Mills -- and I like music that enables this. But I'll play to the material and am fine with keeping it simple where appropriate. I play with both fingers and pick, whatever works best for the bass line and the music. I like to come up with my own parts but am also fine playing existing lines where necessary. I can write and contribute to the writing process, and am strong at arrangement and structure (I love me some structure and dynamics). Can usually do limited backup vox, though sadly my singing isn't the best. I'm also a guitarist (and bad drummer), though mostly want to play bass.
