RSVP now for pet workshop "Boredom Busters"
Many pets feel bored and stuck inside during the wintertime. Learn how to keep them active at the Connecticut Humane Society's free PETtalk workshop, "Boredom Busters," Wednesday, Jan. 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at CHS, 455 Post Road East, Westport. Keeping pets entertained is important for their physical and mental health. Without enough activity, boredom can quickly turn into destructive behavior. So what can you do to curb your pets' boredom and keep them happy and healthy? From snuffle mats to pet piƱatas, and potted cat grass to braided rope toys, there are lots of ideas you'll learn about at the workshop. Following the discussion about behavior and enrichment, there will be a Q & A with attendees. RSVP for a free spot at westportboredombusters.eventbrite.com.
