Salem Police Collect 887 Items For 'It Starts With Me' Food Drive

SALEM, MA — Salem police were able to collect 883 items and $275 in donations during their fill-a-cruiser food drive event on Wednesday. The "It Starts With Me" turkey drive collected turkeys and other traditional holiday food items for those in need in front of the police station on Margin Street. Items collected included: squash, canned corn, butter, rolls, pie, stuffing, boxed desserts, juice, turkey tin roasting pans, boxed cereal, coffee and soup.
