Celebrate the return of Hefe Day to the brewery with VIP tours and some special gifts to-go for those who attend! Join us on Sunday, May 15th for our 7th Annual Hefe Day Celebration! On May 15, 1986 Kurt and Rob Widmer delivered the first keg of Hefe to the Dublin Pub, and the rest is history! 35+ years later, Hefe is still Oregon's Favorite Craft Beer, and one that helped define today's craft beer landscape. In 2016, The City of Portland declared May 15th as Hefe Day to honor the 30th Anniversary of Widmer Brothers Hefeweizen (Hefe for short). After two years without an in-person event it's time to celebrate Hefe Day at the brewery in 2022! Widmer Brothers will be re-introducing our brewery tour program with a Hefe Day VIP event on Sunday, May 15th from 11a to 4p. We will be offering tours every hour beginning at 11a where guests will have the chance to be the first to experience the brand new Widmer Brothers Brewery Tour, sample some upcoming innovation beers, and take home a few gifts so you can enjoy Hefe Day at home. Who knows, Kurt and Rob Widmer may even be making a surprise appearance! *Closed toed shoes are required while doing a tour. **Tickets are required to attend this event and are broken up into five (5) tour timeslots.
