Join Jane Billinghurst, author of Forest Walking, and the Whatcom Million Trees Project for a hike in the woods! Once you have registered, you will receive information on the location and details of the hike. Join Jane on Saturday, June 18 at 10:30am for a forest walk in Bellingham to delve into the forest ecosystem, find clues about the trees' history, and track down seasonal treasures. You will leave with a new appreciation for what is to be found under the trees, even on hikes you thought you knew well, and with ways to engage children in the adventure. Suitable for ages 8+. Participation limited to 16. A $10 donation per adult is suggested, which will fund Whatcom Million Trees Project to successfully plant a tree locally.
