WESTPORT, CT — Staples High School Associate Football Coach Jon Zames has been on paid administrative leave since Nov. 8, for reasons not disclosed, as the district conducts an investigation into a complaint against him, writes The Hour. His leave is considered without prejudice, but when the investigation will conclude is not known. In addition to his position as associate coach, Zames also was Defensive Coordinator for the team, and he filled in during the season as head coach when Adam Behrends, the team's head coach, was away, according to the publication.
