Healing Rhythm Event facilitated by Sandra Sabene/ Liverpool Drum Circle/ Prayer Song, guided rounds, intro hand drum, guided mindfulness Rhythm Gathering at Liverpool Art Center's New Location: 305 Vine St Spring-Fall Events/IndoorsRe-connect through facilitated rhythm and healing songs with the founders of Liverpool Art Center Drum Circle; the longest running drum circle in CNY!!Mindfulness and rhythm combine to offer relaxing musical experiences for anyone (absolutely no skills required). Designed for adults seeking creative outlets, self-care practices and a sense of belonging.This facilitated rhythm event is modeled after what's known as a drum circle. People gather and connect with the focus being around making music with percussion instruments, song and sometimes we even dance! The goal is not so much about making songs like we hear on the radio....the purpose of this event is to gather with like-minded people for the purpose of healing, deepening connection with ourselves, others and the rhythm of the world around us. Important details about this monthly event:Drum use is included with your payment. Parking is free, plentiful and anywhere around the building. Limited handicap parking available (please make prior arrangements)This is an indoor event.NO ALCOHOL OR SUBSTANCE USE PRIOR OR DURING THE EVENT.*** Our organization supports person in recovery and families impacted by the opioid crisis and for this reason we are strict about this policy. Every month we are hosting 2 drum events and a mini-retreat:12-1:30pm Healing Drum Circle at LAC STUDIO IN LIVERPOOL1:30-3:30pm Mindful Arts & Meditative Painting (mini retreat)5-7pm Rhythms at Pathfinder in MARTVILLE, NY (30min from LAC Studio) Come for part of the day or come for all three!!The evening drumming is held at our newest addition: Pathfinder Studio & Nature Sanctuary.....Rhythms for a CauseAll proceeds for events at Pathfinder Studio & Nature Sanctuary fund the growth and sustainability of the community space and wellness events hosted onsite. Rhythm events offer opportunities to gather, drum together and support the 501c3, Pathfinder Studio & Nature Sanctuary.
