Williams Horticulture is in search of a Ground Burrowing Rodent/ Irrigation Tech. We are a family owned company and have been in business for over 50 years. Williams Horticulture specializes in landscape pest and disease management including gopher, mole, vole and ground squirrel control, fertilization, weed abatement and arbor care. We also provide irrigation services, drip irrigation install/ repair and tank fill. - 35-40 hours a week plus commission. - Williams Horticulture provides a company cell phone, work vehicle, uniforms and personal protective equipment. - Experience in the pest control, landscaping, irrigation repair/ install, vineyard/ orchard industry is a plus but we will train the right candidate. - No pest control license is required. This position requires you to: - Be able to lift at least 50 pounds - Walk up and down steep hills - Drive a vehicle (must have a clean driving record with DMV printout) - Pull a water trailer behind a vehicle - Work outside in the elements - Live trap animals including raccoons, skunks, possums and ground Squirrels. - Use pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilizers.
