This gig is for tomorrow, Thursday the 28, and Friday the 29. I need three people. What kind of gig is this, you ask? What will occur at this warehouse? Here's the deal: Objects will be moved from place to place, as per my instruction. Order will occur, chaos will be diminished. The objects may be appliances, or paint, or drywall, or some other objects I haven't even thought of yet. There may be some sweeping, some lifting, perhaps the putting of things in boxes. Heck, we might even build some shelves. In the end it will be like before, but cleaner and more organized. Rocket science it isn't. Where is this exciting gig you ask? My warehouse/studio Uptown. As close the crack of 8:30 as we are able. Be prepared to work. I am not posting the exact address because you can’t just show. People actually do this and it drives me nuts. I have to REPLY to you and hire you for the gig. Please, please don’t just say, “I’m down,” or something like that. I don’t expect a resume and a cover letter but you gotta give me SOMETHING to go on. If you say something like, “I can do it,” that is not enough for me to make a snap judgement on how likely your are to show up. A pic would be nice. Why? So I can look for visual clues like whether or not you are reasonably groomed (good) or have one of those tear drop tattoos indicating you killed someone in prison (bad). Bonus points for cool hair (good.) I’ll pay for lunch. At the end of the day you will be paid in cold, hard, Venmo. $17/hr. We’ll be finished mid-afternoon.
