Join us as we write together on The Steel Yard outdoor campus. Sometimes inspiration demands a change of scenery. Ignite your imagination at a public write-in on the outdoor campus of The Steel Yard, a non-profit industrial art center in Providence. From 2-5pm on Sat, May 28 join local creatives as we write together amidst the sculptural art of The Steel Yard. Fuel your writing with a discounted coffee & tea menu for write-in participants that day at New Harvest Coffee Roasters (located across the street at 10 Sims Ave). Rain date: Sun, June 5, 2-5pm Safety Guidelines This event will be held outdoors. To keep it accessible and comfortable for all, please be sure to bring a mask with you and be prepared to wear it if asked. What to Bring -Face Mask -Hand sanitizer -Chair or blanket (limited seating available) -Notebook or charged laptop -Writing utensil -Sunscreen -Water/beverage (no alcohol please) -Food & beverage available at nearby New Harvest Coffee, Revival Brewery & Lost Valley Pizza, Industrious Spirits Co, Garden of Eve, Tallulahs and Providence Brewing Company.
