This is an African Grey parrot, the person that we purchased it from estimated it's age between 15 and 18 years. It will step up out of the cage but not inside the cage. It is not the cuddly type of bird. It just likes to hang out and do its own thing. It says many phrases and mimic alot of sounds but it has to warm up to you before it starts talking.
