Description
This class will combine two forms of creative expression: movement + art. We will begin with yoga and meditation to allow you to listen to your emotions as you move from the outer world to your inner wisdom. The class will incorporate traditional alignment-based yoga as well as somatic and intuitive movement. All levels of yoga experience are welcome. You will then have an opportunity to create a piece of art inspired by your movement experience. Kristen will provide prompts to support your creative journey. Using a variety of art supplies (imagine your art class in kindergarten) you will design a piece that portrays what is alive for you at the moment. Check out her inspirational piece below! There will be an opportunity to share your work in circle or listen to and observe others. This piece of art will come home with you to inspire your daily life.
