Join us for our Annual Comedy Night staring Chris Roach and Dennis Rooney with Host Matt Peoples. Date: Friday, July 1, 2022 Pub opens 5:00pm - Comedy Show 7:30pm Location: New Jersey Motorsports Park Finish Line Pub Time: Doors will open promptly at 5pm - Event will conclude at 10pm. Absolutely no walk ups. Optional Dinner will take place between 5pm-7pm. Comedy Show will begin at 7:30pm. Cash Bar Available Optional 3-Course Dinner may be added to Event Ticket (Pre-purchase required) Stars of the Evening: Chris Roach - Chris is a comedian and actor born and raised in New York. Roach has brought his unique and self-deprecating sense of humor to some of the biggest and best known stages such as The Borgata in Atlantic City. Known for some of his work on television commercials, he has also appeared on Comedy Central, "The Michael J. Fox Show," and had a recurring role as Rodney, the lovable mental patient on the ABC network soap opera "One Life to Live." Roach was recently cast on the new Kevin James show, in a multi-camera comedy series for CBS. "Kevin Can Wait" centers on newly retired police officer Kevin, played by James, who looks forward to spending more quality time with his wife and three kids - only to discover he faces much tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the streets. Roach will play Mott, one of James' friends. Roach also wrapped CBS' "Limitless" as Maurice, opposite actress Jennifer Carpenter and actor Jake McDorman. Dennis Rooney - Dennis loves stand up comedy, and it shows. Starting in 2010, he quickly became a regular at the Governor’s clubs on Long Island. Since, he has been invited to multiple festivals taking him outside of NY, such as the Asheville Comedy Festival and the Cleveland Comedy Festival. He's also extensively toured the South as well as the Midwest. In 2019 he performed in the New York Comedy Festival after he placed in the final four at the Caroline's Comedy Madness competition, beating out 60 other comedians. You can hear his podcasts Netflix Book Club and Almost Irish released weekly on iTunes and Spotify. Matt Peoples - Matt is a Philadelphia based comedian. Matt uses a blend of material and crowd work to take the audience on a trip through his sub par love life, his poorly developed thoughts on life and a myriad of topics that he’s more confident in his beliefs than he should be. Matt has performed at Soul Joel’s Comedy Club, Punchline Philadelphia, Helium Philadelphia, Broadway Comedy club and a dive bar near you.
