HARLEM, NY – Police are seeking the public's helping locating a man in connection with an assault at a subway station in Harlem earlier this week.
On Monday just after 5 p.m., the suspect approached a 51-year-old man on the mezzanine level of the 110th Street subway station and slashed him with a sharp object in the face when the man refused to purchase a MetroCard for him, police said.
The victim suffered a severe laceration to his face and was transported in stable condition by EMS to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem.
According to police, the suspect left the station and has not been located.
