Seeding Galveston serves up salad synergy featuring handmade salad bowls and chef-prepared salads to benefit community projects! Come share a beer, a glass of wine and some awesome salads to promote agricultural sustainability on Galveston Island! Attendees will get to choose a handmade salad bowl lovingly crafted and generously donated by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Galveston County! There will be an “open salad bar” with delicious salads prepared by some of Galveston’s best chefs – perfect for a late Spring day! Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage will be served as well. Event activities include: Petting baby goatsPlants for saleSilent AuctionLive musicSeeding Galveston gear for purchaseTickets are $50 and you keep the salad bowl you choose! Children between 6 and 11 pay $10 (without a bowl). This fundraising event will mainly benefit four projects: West Island FARMacy; 100 Kitchen Garden; Holland House Veggie Distribution; and the Grace Episcopal Church Mini-Farm!
