And the horses are off.... To the bar, because the race was last week! Join us for a post-derby celebration with Angel's Envy! After running ten furlongs, we all could use a little R & R. And nothing refreshes like a little tropical getaway--right here in Long Beach! We're headed to the Bamboo Club for an island-style derby celebration on their private patio with Angel's Envy bourbon! Kick back with cocktails and appetizers while Ashley Erwin, Regional Whiskey Ambassador, and Whiskey Guardian Steven Flores share whiskey wisdom about this unique spirit. Dress to impress: island attire or derby wear are encouraged--or a combination of the two. Angel's Envy is what happens when 200 years of bourbon tradition meet an independent master craftsman’s instinct to improve. It’s a total return to the art of craft-first, hand blended batches of 8 to 12 barrels at a time. They personally taste every barrel throughout each step of the aging process to ensure that the spirits meet our perfectionist standards. This would be enough for any other premium bourbon, but they think you deserve more. That’s why they finish every one of their whiskeys in hand-selected finishing barrels. For an added layer of flavor and complexity, their bourbon and special cask strength are finished in ruby port casks, and their rye is finished in rum barrels.
