WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT - PART TIME

Local interior design company has an immediate opening for a PART TIME Warehouse Assistant! We are in search of someone who can perform a range of basic to complex tasks in a warehouse environment with accuracy, reliability, willingness to learn, and solid quality of work. Warehouse experience is REQUIRED for consideration. HOURS: M-F 12:00am - 4:30pm REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • At least 6 months of experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing • Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds • Minimum 6 months of experience in construction industry • High school diploma or GED • Valid WA State Driver's license with good driving record REQUIRED SKILLS: • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs • Knowledge of operating a forklift or have Forklift Certification • Ability to work independently and safely • Ability to assemble furniture items RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock • Receive in products, materials, cabinetry, etc. in accordance with company policy and input information into computer software program. • Warehouse and inventory duties such as loading and unloading trucks, order pulling and shipping. • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner and notify necessary departments of orders received, returns, claims, etc. • Resolve logistical challenges by communicating with staff, clients, transportation providers, manufacturers, and suppliers. • Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse. • Assist in tracking, and keeping up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations. Assist in maintaining and update the safety handbook. • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed HOW TO APPLY: Please respond to this posting with your RESUME.
