Free pick up and a technical session with Elevate Soccer Training founder and FFH coach Stephanie Romero! Football For Her is a safe and inclusive space to come and at minimum play pick-up soccer for those who identify as female or non-binary aged 8-18 from 7-9PM at Lab Five in Pacoima. We will incorprate interactive, informative, or inspiring sessions with professional players or resources needed by sport. Each week we will post the link to register and inform you if we will be including a special guest or not. Please sign up prior to coming on Friday in order to participate! Technical Session: Stephanie Romero A southern california native that started playing soccer at the age of 8 all up to the age of 22. She played for Applevalley storm soccer club and then continued to play at Laramie county comminity college for 2 yrs and became an all american. She transfer and became an All- American at Alderson Broaddus, division 2 soccer program, and was able to help the program grab its first conference title and NCAA Appearance. She is currently am an Adminstrative Nurse and Founder of Elevate Soccer Training which focuses on providing tools for female soccer players, achieve their goals on and off the pitch. Recently got back to being a Club coach for santa anita soccer club g2010. At elevate we emphasize creativity by being technical with the ball and without it. We will be showing change of direction, escaping small space skills and when we release the ball how to get open again. Soccer is a multitasking sport and our brains need be able to register all that is going on, which is why with all our movements there is mental decision making being added.
