A day of gardening tips, vendors, children's activities, fun and workshops Join Cape Fear Botanical Garden at Gardenmania, highlighting the "Southern Style of Gardening." With vendors offering a variety of garden art, handcrafted goods and refreshments, there will be something for everyone. Many children's activities including hands-on planting and games will be available. Listen as Bryce Lane, the host of In the Garden, and a national award-winning instructor in the Department of Horticultural Science at N.C. State University shares all of his tips for container gardening. Proceeds from the event benefit Cape Fear Botanical Garden, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to the mission of environmental education and therapeutic horticulture. **Workshops available: Sculpted Daylilies, Build your own bird feeder, Growing berries, Make and take herb garden, Paint a day lily canvas, and more! Admission is FREE for members of Cape Fear Botanical Garden.
