We are currently looking for qualified detailers to join the Chilton Auto Body team at several of our San Francisco Bay Area locations. Job Description: Ensure that customers' vehicles get cleaned and detailed to the company's standards; vacuuming the interior, cleaning the windows, washing the exterior, applying a glaze on panels as necessary, cleaning the interior opening jambs, and performing a quality control inspection of the repairs after reviewing the estimate to confirm the work that was done to the vehicle. Duties: *Inspect vehicle repair areas for stone guards, emblems, radio codes, tape strips, decals, etc. Perform a quality control inspection on the final product, and if any concerns, report to production staff immediately. *Maintain and organize the detail area, keeping it clean and set up for day-to-day production, maintaining inventory of detail supplies and being involved in the ordering process. *Manage the parking in the customer lot. Maintain the shop and delivery area cleanliness as needed. *Monitor the customers' vehicles while they are onsite, assisting in keeping them safe from the elements by utilizing crash wrap to cover any openings and by watching for parts in cars that could potentially damage the interior.
