Bassist just testing the waters

33 yr old Bassist just looking to chill and jam. Have my own transportation, gear, full time job, other hobbies etc. I can’t read music but if you give me time to learn stuff on my own or can show me, I can pick things up fairly quick. Haven’t played with other in a while but I’m looking to shake the rust off and have fun. I play guitar too but highly prefer bass If our influences line up, let’s jam. I’m really into riffy catchy stuff…. Older influences - red hot chili peppers, misfits, AFI, tiger army, third eye blind, Audioslave, coheed, ska bands, 80s metal, minus the bear, paramore, weezer, 00’s pop punk (blink182, sum41, greenday etc.) Newer influences - New dance Gavin dance (tilian era, I’m on a huge DGD kick right now lol) polyphia, Shrezzers, chon, unprocessed, issues, Ghost, I just want to jam with some new friends :) Covers first? Maybe some original stuff later down the line. Hmu
