MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Trenton firefighter was grazed by a stray bullet while working inside a city firehouse on Tuesday, according to reports.
The firefighter was working inside the Calhoun Street firehouse when a shooting took place in the housing project located behind the building, NBC Philadelphia reported. The firefighter suffered a graze to his arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment, said 6ABC.
Authorities told media the firefighter was not the intended target of the shooting. He is currently in stable condition, reported NJ.com.
The investigation is ongoing.
