Plants, All Types of Goods at May 7 Carmichael Community Parking Lot Sale The Carmichael Community Parking Lot Sale will be held Saturday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at La Sierra Community Center in Carmichael. The event is sponsored by the Carmichael Recreation and Park District and the Carmichael Community Garden. All proceeds from the sale benefit the community garden. Vendors of all types will offer their wares for sale at the event. In addition, the community gardeners will have a wide selection of vegetable plants and ornamentals for dirt-cheap prices. Have toys, household items, collectibles or just plain stuff you’d like to sell? A limited number of spaces remain for vendors. Booths are $20 for a 10-by-10-foot space or $35 for two spaces. For booth reservations or questions, call ; online reservations are not available for this event. Booth spaces are assigned at random, but anyone who wishes a specific space may call to check availability. La Sierra Community Center is at 5325 Engle Road, Carmichael. The Carmichael Community Garden is in its 19th year as a program of CRPD.
