Topic: Non-Profits and their Role in Boosting Small Business and the Community Speakers: Jeffrey Armstrong, MPA, Family Promise of the Midlands; Adam B. Jones, Jones McAden & Associates, LLC; Mary Louise Resch, Habitat for Humanity; JoAnn Turnquist, Central Carolina Community Foundation
Each year over 480 local non-profit agencies in our community raise tremendous amounts of funding to provide services for people in need. For example, Midlands Gives has raised over $12.6 million alone. To put those dollars to work, non-profits hire local citizens as their employees and also contract local small businesses to accomplish their projects. Join us to learn more about the economic spinoff of goodwill in our community.
The Small Business Council, presented by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, hosts these meetings to provide a forum for education, networking, and motivation.
Hosted April 19, 2022 at Segra Park.
