READING, MA — The Reading Select Board will resume discussions about modifications to the downtown parking system. Aspects of the system that may be modified or considered include: Leased spacesEmployee Permit ProgramOn-Street Regulations (i.e., Public, Resident Only, etc.)Off-Street Regulations (i.e., Brande Court & Upper Haven lots)Commuter ParkingPaid Parking, potentially as part of a Parking Benefit DistrictSafety EnhancementsDiscussions could start as soon as the Aug. 11 Select Board meeting, the town said.
