County Public Health Agency Reports 394 New COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths

By Elizabeth Ireland, Times of San Diego April 27, 2022 San Diego County reported 394 new cases of COVID-19 and no new virus-related deaths Tuesday. Tuesday's data increased the county's cumulative coronavirus totals to 758,313 cases and 5,236 deaths. COVID-19 hospitalizations have increased by three to 101, according to health officials. In San Diego County, 94.3% of residents eligible — age 5 and older — have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 82.8% of those eligible — or 2,607,527 — are fully vaccinated and 55.9% from a smaller eligibility group — 1,237,325 — have received boosters.
