Press release from the City of Johnston: April 25, 2022 All gates are reopened along the trails. Please use caution when going under the Merle Hay Bridge north of I-80/35. While parks crews cleaned off the trail, it may still be slippery. The trail near the Oxbow in the Beaver Creek Natural Resource Area (near Terra Park) still has standing water. Please ensure you remain safe if traveling through this area. The trails were closed over the weekend out of an abundance of caution. The safety of our residents and visitors to Johnson is our top priority. We appreciate your patience as the trails were reopened this morning. This press release was produced by the City of Johnston.
