Livermore Police Find Stolen License Plates, Mail In Stolen Car

LIVERMORE, CA — A Union City woman was arrested in Livermore after police found stolen mail, stolen license plates, stolen checks, and more in her car. Over the weekend, Livermore police located a black Mercedes on South Vasco Road that was reported stolen out of Burlingame, the department reported. Officers searched the vehicle, and found "years worth of identity theft, check fraud, stolen mail, and stolen license plates," according to an Instagram postfrom the department. The 32-year-old woman, whose name was not reported, was arrested and charged with a number of crimes. Officers are reaching out to victims all over the Bay Area who have reported stolen property since 2019.
