Press release from Ramsey County Government: April 26, 2022 Tara Storey, an employee at Lake Owasso Residence for over 17 years, received a Ramsey County Employee Achievement Award from the board of commissioners at its April 26 meeting. Commissioner Frethem presented her the award. As a long-time employee, she knows the residents, families and care managers well, and has become Program Director Chris Chandler's go-to person. She is known as someone who is open, approachable, and skilled at addressing conflict and finding creative solutions. She also brings a sense of humor to Lake Owasso Residence. Storey has worked her way up from resident counselor to supervisor and steps in anywhere help is needed. She can multi-task without missing a beat and knows almost every aspect of each position.
