Press release from Robbinsdale Area Schools: April 21, 2022 Dear Robbinsdale Area Schools family, "This letter serves as a reminder that school start times will change beginning in the 2022-23 school year. The change in start times will affect all schools in our district including elementary, middle, high schools and our Early Learning Programs. The Robbinsdale Board of Education voted in December 2020 to change school start times, and voted in April 2021 to implement the change for the 2022-23 school year (beginning Sept. 6, 2022). To accommodate school bus transitions between tiers, some start times have been adjusted slightly. Please note: Fifth-grade students at SEA are moving to the FAIR Crystal building next year because of construction. Robbinsdale Transition Center (RTC) Start Times RTC start time will be 8:30 a.m.RTC end time will be 2:30 p.m. Early Learning programs New Hope Learning Center (NHLC) Morning classes at NHLC: 8:15 - 10:45 a.m. Afternoon classes at NHLC 11:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes will remain the same Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) at elementary sites VPK Morning Class: 7:45 -10:15 a.m. VPK Afternoon Class: 11:35 a.m. - 2:05 p.m. Preschool at Zachary Lane Preschool Morning Class: 7:45 - 10:15 a.m. Preschool Afternoon Class: 11:35 a.m. - 2:05 p.m. Learn more about the process and timeline, as well as details about the new start times at rdale.org."
