Description
DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin Planning Commission will review the draft of the 2023-2031 Housing Element Update at its meeting Tuesday, the city said.
On April 15, a 30-day public review of the draft was sent out.
A long-term general plan for development in Dublin is required by the state as the current plan expires in 2022. Adding a housing element to that plan is one of seven mandates.
Cities and towns across the state must come up with ways to add more housing at an affordable price under the state's mandate following the declaration of a housing crisis.
City Council is set to review the housing draft May 17.
