READING, MA — A Reading man recently won $100,000 in the Massachusetts State Lottery's Mass Cash Game. Michael Sweeney was among the latest parade of six winners.
Here's how the game works. The ticket holder picks five numbers out of 35. Then you see if your numbers match the numbers selected at the next drawing. Each play costs $1. Easy enough, right?
The probability of winning the top prize of $100,000: 1 in 324,632, according to the lottery.
Sweeney bought his ticket at Stop & Shop in Stoneham.
