We are passionate, lifelong learners, and creative thinkers working daily to develop culturally authentic language materials.WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT?As an HR Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for current and new employees and work closely with a seasoned team of Talent and HR professionals to provide a stellar employee experience, service and support to our diverse employee population. In this role, you will engage in a variety of HR programs, projects and initiatives such as new hire onboarding, processing employee changes, updating employee resource pages & FAQs, publishing our internal newsletter, running engagement surveys and planning employee appreciation events as well as supporting the HR team on a variety of day to day activities and tasks. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Provide friendly, informative and timely support to office based, hybrid and remote employees as the first point of contact for employee questions on a variety of HR and employee related processes and topicsSupport HR team with return to office planning and communicationsManage, organize and update internal employee resource page (Share Point) and publish employee newsletterOnboard new employees, enter new hire information into HRIS (ADP), manage employee files (digital and physical) Provide support with the bi-annual employee performance review processPrepare and maintain employee change letters (i.e offer letters, promotions, bonuses etc.)Process employee verifications, background checks, changes and terminations Manage exit process for employees and temporary staffPlan and organize employee recognition and other employee centered meetings and/or events (including handling catering orders)Manage employee appreciation gifting programManage community building and volunteering opportunities Process purchase orders and support HR team with invoice reconciliationProvide general administrative support (i.e. ordering business cards, consumables and supplies, calendar management, scheduling meetings etc.)Contribute to other projects as neededYOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE) Bachelors degree required2+ years of previous Human Resources (HR) experience requiredWorking knowledge of Human Resources principles, practices, and procedures requiredPrior experience working with sensitive information and issues of confidentiality Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills (strong English writing and grammatical skills)Ability to collaborate and engage effectively with employees across all levels and departmentsAbility to work effectively both independently and in group settingsAbility to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situationsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times IDEAL IF YOU HAVE or ARE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)Experience working with HRIS systems (such as ADP) and calendar scheduling toolsExperience working within a high growth environmentExperience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) LOCATIONIn-Office: This full-time rolerequires working in our office location at 500 Boylston Street, Boston, MA.
