GREAT NECK PLAZA, NY — Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out at an apartment complex in Great Neck Plaza. Around 7:45 a.m. Monday, police and firefighters rushed to a working fire at the Pavillion apartment complex on Cuttermill Road, near Ash Place, police said. Nassau County police 0fficers helped firefighters with the Great Neck Vigilant Fire Co. and Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department evacuate the building and locate the flames, which were inside a unit. Photos posted on social media showed thick, black smoke coming out of the building. No one was hurt and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
