Sweet but scared cat needs loving home

I rescued this cutie who was dumped at Walgreens in the central valley where I live. I do animal rescue volunteer work and we have a HORRIBLE cat problem here. People have no regard for cats. So I find them homes. Cats are dumped all the time and we try to find a potential home in case they got lost and almost always, they were dumped and their family isn't coming back for them. Wally, as I named him, was sitting at Walgreens at 11 pm and I know the feral cats there and he has never been there before, and he was friendly. He was just sitting at the front door meowing at everyone, easy to pet and hungry. He wasn't fixed and he was very dirty. I was so afraid he would get hit and killed bc that happens all the time here too, or that the violent homeless man would hurt him, so I could not leave him there. No one has come looking for him. : ( I had him fixed and a rabies shot and flea treatment and now I'm looking for a home for him that would be patient with him. He will need time to adjust. He may have been a stray all along and just ended up at Walgreens. There are soooo many strays here. I am looking to get him out of this horrible central valley which is why I'm advertising in a more pet friendly area. I am fostering him but he has to stay in a big dog kennel for now bc of my other cats and as they get older, they don't tolerate new cats anymore. He would really love his own home where he can continue to experience love and trust and a warm safe bed. Who wants to help me give him the life he deserves? Transport can be arranged. He purrs like crazy when you pet him or when he's being fed.
