Press release from the Great Neck Park District: November 2 2020 October's a month of fall holiday fun for all Boos & Ghouls! Starting with our Annual Scarecrow Festival, to our Halloween Window Painting and finishing up with our Halloween Hullabaloo Parade, it was a spook-tacular time in the GNPD for everyone! The Scarecrow Festival was so popular, we turned it into a two-day event! Halloween Window Painting brought the community together with the Great Neck Plaza Business District. All of our participants, helped add some spooky feels to our town. Finally on October 31, we were thrilled to get the kids out to the Halloween Hullabaloo Parade. Everyone (including some parents!) enjoyed the excitement of dressing up in costumes, socializing while social-distancing, dancing and parading. And to top it off, everyone received a goody bag to take home. All of our events helped get everyone into the the Halloween spirit!
