The Solar Technician is responsible for the scheduling and completion of all service and warranty-related work, performing site intake visits and reports, and assisting in technical support for residential and commercial solar installations.
Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain the warranty and service schedule ensuring the timely completion of service and warranty work with an emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Perform initial site intakes, site visits and inspections for both residential and commercial clients
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving solar warranty and service issues that arise
Diagnose and troubleshoot network or internet connection and restore communication
Record and submit service activity on company software platforms

Ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings
Ability to drive a company-provided vehicle during the normal course of business (Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.)
Physical Demands:
Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance
Ability to work in confined spaces which requires kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
Ability to work in outdoor weather
Experience:
Experience in the solar industry is required
Basic construction knowledge preferred
Roofing experience is a plus
NABCEP certification is a plus
