Description
CardFlight serves over 100,000 merchants with our product, SwipeSimple, and relies on the efficiency and effectiveness of the Inventory Coordinator to manage day-to-day shipping operations. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for all shipping and receiving related functions which includes managing warehouse inventory, organizing large sets of data from incoming and outgoing units, testing of individual devices to provide data on the quality of each shipment, and preparation of outbound shipments. This role serves cross-functionally between multiple groups across a rapidly growing SaaS company. The Inventory Coordinator will report to the Senior Director of Finance. The role will require between 20-25 hours per week. This is not a benefits eligible position. What You’ll Do: Packing and Shipping (45%) - Receive and verify accuracy of incoming inventory - Ensure proper packaging and labeling of shipments, utilizing FedEx, USPS, and UPS - Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound deliveries including storage and shipment of packed products - Adhere to company packing procedures and standards - Maintain a clean and safe work environment Inventory Management (45%) - Maintain accurate records of inventory, shortages, and discrepancies by completing regular cycle counts as required - Utilize various tools (Email, Slack, Google Suites) to perform daily tasks - Communicate status to internal company stakeholders - Receive supplies from vendors and verify accuracy of purchase orders - Performs other related duties as assigned and/or needed Quality Testing (10%) - Execute inspection and quality control testing of incoming product - Document quality errors and issues with internal reporting systems - Communicate and collaborate with Engineering, Product and Finance teams to ensure products meet customer expectations and demand- report issues as they arise. What You’ll Bring to the Table: - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize tasks - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Basic computer and mobile device knowledge What We’d Love for You to Have: - Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned - Experience managing and packing inventory or handling other logistics - Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets and/or equivalent Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
